I'm a huge fan of Bicycle Day by Euphonic Conceptions. I've gone ever since the first year when Simon did a Shpongle DJ set and it was at 1015 Folsom. I also remember buying a ton of weed before class and then convincing my professor to let me leave early so I could make it to dinner before the show (Not an easy feat by any means, Julius was very intimidating!)

That being said, I've noticed that the lineup is pretty much people who have worked with Simon. Desert Dwellers, Beats Antique, Random Rab (2 years ago). I won't be shocked if I see Phutureprimitive on next year's line up (but I will say I told you so!!!)

Katitious that sucks!!! Kinda reminds me of my little sister at the SF show this tour. Phutureprimitive came out and she tells "Who is this?!? WHERES SIMON?!?! I WANT SIMON!!!" Short sets are always a drag. An hour and a half isn't enough Shpongle. It's enough to get you into it but you're gonna want more.

Beats Antique!! Zoe Jakes is one of my belly dance idols!

....was so cool to see them in the same night at Creature Carnival but it killed me that he played such a short set. It was a total tease!

WilShred I'm sad that I missed Creature Carnival with Beats Antique and Lafa Taylor.

Maybe Simon really likes the Bay Area? Rainy Pants, Beats Antique and Lafa Taylor...all Bay Area artists.)
